User Interface Design

To show me your devotion and your commitment, you agreed to be locked up for a week in a new prototype of an indestructible chastity belt with a built-in timer. It probably seemed like an acceptable deal: one week of horniness, and you’ll get a girl impressed with your eagerness. And what could go wrong? A week sounded bearable, and once the timer expires, you automatically get released. Must have been quite a shock when the week passed and nothing happened.
You never asked me how I could afford such a sophisticated belt. Well, the thing is: the user interface of this prototype needs serious work. See, I was able to change the setting of the time unit from “hours” to “years” without you noticing, which is a serious design flaw, so when you attempted to lock yourself up for a week, you didn’t set the release timer to 168 hours, but 168 years instead.
But not all is lost: remember that I still have the emergency release code, so I can let you out whenever I want to. Now the main question is: am I motivated to unlock you? Currently, I feel kind of like I want to be a bit cruel, a bit mean – after all, that’s why I secretly changed the time unit setting in the first place. So, to be blunt, currently, I’m not really motivated to let you out. Instead, I find the thought of you spending eternity in this belt – or, technically, the rest of your life – somehow highly erotic.
But perhaps if you would be willing to serve me as my slave for the next year, I might be willing to reconsider and to let you out of your belt. Or perhaps, after a year of you obeying my every wish and command, at least I might have had enough time to consider what you could do to motivate me to release you. So, what do you say?

Nothing To See Here

After the great Tumblr apocalypse, I decided to try out Blogger as a new home for my captions, but I found the experience rather frustrating...
